WHY RELAY

Built different since 1997

Three brands, zero bias.

We carry Kenwood, Motorola, and Tait because no single brand fits every operation. Your system gets the right hardware, not whatever we had in stock. Our engineers are certified across all three platforms.

Coverage where carriers can't reach.

Our owned networks cover Indiana, Kentucky, and the Carolinas. Dead zones for cell phones are working zones for our clients. We operate and maintain the tower infrastructure ourselves.

FROM OUR CLIENTS

Real words from real operations

Relay upgraded our entire county dispatch system without a single minute of downtime. Their engineers worked third shift to make it happen.

Marcus Trent

Sheriff, Hendricks County, IN

We switched from a national carrier to Relay's regional network. Coverage went from spotty to bulletproof, and our monthly cost dropped 30%.

Ray Holcomb

Fleet Manager, Pinnacle Logistics

The team at Relay treats our radios like they're mission-critical. Because for us, they are. 14 years and counting.

Ops Director, Carolinas Health System

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps to better communication

01

Evaluate

RF survey, usage audit, coverage analysis. We map your operation before recommending a single piece of hardware.

02

Design

System architecture, frequency planning, dispatch integration. Every component specified down to the antenna height.

03

Deploy

Hardware staging, phased rollout, operator training. We go live on your schedule, not ours.

04

Support

24/7 emergency line, preventive maintenance, firmware updates. The team that built your system keeps it running.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What you need to know

We sell and service Kenwood, Motorola, and Tait. Each brand has strengths for different use cases. Kenwood excels in construction and manufacturing. Motorola dominates public safety. Tait is purpose-built for utilities and transportation. We recommend based on your operation, not margin.

Small fleet deployments (under 50 radios) take 2 to 4 weeks from signed proposal to go-live. Multi-site systems with repeaters and dispatch consoles typically run 6 to 12 weeks. We provide a detailed project timeline before you commit.

Our owned repeater networks cover those three regions. For operations outside our footprint, we partner with regional carriers for nationwide push-to-talk. Your radios roam onto partner networks automatically.

You call our emergency line and talk to an engineer, not a voicemail. If it's a hardware failure, we ship a loaner overnight. If it's a system issue, we remote into your infrastructure and fix it before sunrise.

Our coverage network plans work like a cell phone plan for radios. Monthly per-radio pricing with no capital outlay for repeater infrastructure. You get regional push-to-talk coverage without buying, installing, or maintaining tower equipment.
